Privacy notice

This notice describes which data this website, the DESNAVO app and the DESNAVO service actually process during the beta phase. It will be revised before the app's public release; the current version is always available at this address.

This website (desnavo.app)

desnavo.app is a static website. It uses no analytics, advertising or social media services and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and images are served from the website itself.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA, with data centres in the EU). To deliver the site and protect it from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP address, time, requested address and browser identifier. We do not analyse these data and keep no access logs of our own.

Links to templeofdesire.de, desirediaries.com and the DESNAVO service lead to separate offerings with their own privacy notices.

If you email us, we process your address and the content to reply. We keep beta enquiries until the end of the beta and delete them afterwards unless a retention duty applies.

Principle in the app

You can use most content without an account. Private content stays on your device. Only what you enter into features that need an account, or what you explicitly release, is sent to our service.

The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics libraries. It does not ask for location access.

Data on your device only

Journal entries, practice history, reflections, voice notes (audio files in the app's private directory), pathfinder answers, sigil drafts, reminder settings, settings, the last opened area and birth details for the natal chart if you save them. These data are not automatically synchronised or transmitted. Selected excerpts are sent to DESNAVO AI only after your explicit confirmation. You delete them in the app under “Me”. In the browser preview they last only until reload.

Account (optional; invitation code only during the beta)

Email address, password (stored as a hash only), display name, language, registration time. Sessions: token hash, client type (web, Android, iOS), timestamps; a session expires after seven days. Redemption of your invitation code, your entitlements (duration, allowances) and usage counters. Failed sign-in attempts are counted per email address for 15 minutes. An audit log records when an account was registered or deleted or an entitlement was granted (account ID, action, time).

No emails are sent during the beta; email confirmation and password recovery are not active yet. Payments are not active; no payment data is collected.

Together and marketplace (account required; only what you enter)

Member profile (display name, short bio, optional photo and visibility), posts in circles, events and attendance, practice-partner cards, company pages with logo, listings, messages about listings, watchlists, reports and blocks. What you mark as public is visible to other signed-in people. Reported content is seen by our moderators.

DESNAVO AI

DESNAVO AI is the name of our assistant feature. Technically the replies are generated by an Anthropic language model (Claude) that our service queries. Only what you explicitly release is sent: your question and, if you select it, a passage from your journal or values from your chart that you confirm. Before every send the app shows what will be transmitted and asks for consent. Account data is not transmitted.

Our service stores question and reply of a conversation for up to 72 hours, after which the content is deleted; the usage count remains. “Forget” in the app deletes the content immediately. Anthropic processes the request as a service provider under its API terms.

Chart reports on the service

The natal chart is calculated in the app on your device. If you request a sidereal report (Jyotish) or save a birth profile on the service, we process the birth details you entered (date, time, place or coordinates, time zone, relationship to you) on the service and keep the report with your account until you delete it. For reports about other people you first confirm their consent or your guardianship.

Voice notes, transcription and reminders

Voice notes are recorded only when you tap “Record” and stay on your device. Transcription to text is not active during the beta. Should it be offered later, it happens only per note on your explicit tap, and the app names the provider beforehand.

Practice reminders are optional and are scheduled as local notifications on your device. There is no push service; the text is generic and contains no private content.

Hosting of the DESNAVO service and technical data

The DESNAVO service runs on Render (Frankfurt region, EU). The hosting provider processes technical connection data such as IP address and time to deliver the service. Our application stores neither IP addresses nor device identifiers. The connection is encrypted (HTTPS).

Android app permissions

Microphone: only while recording a voice note. Photos: only when you choose a profile or company logo. Notifications: only if you switch on practice reminders. Internet: for account, Together, marketplace and DESNAVO AI. No location, contacts or calendar access.

Deletion and retention

Delete your account in the app under “Me → Account” or, without the app, on the “Delete account” page. Account, sessions, profile, learning, chart and community data are removed or disconnected from your identity; an open marketplace payment must be settled first. Pseudonymous security and payment records can remain separately from the account. Remove device data in the app under “Me”.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Write to info@templeofdesire.de. Email requests are checked for identity and scope.

Age

DESNAVO is intended for adults. Beta participation requires a minimum age of 18.
